Slovenia is divided into 210 municipalities (občine, singular – občina), of which 11 have urban status.
Slovenian is an official language of all the municipalities. Hungarian is a second official language of 3 municipalities in Prekmurje: Dobrovnik (Dobrónak), Hodoš (Hodos) and Lendava (Lendva). Italian is a second official language of 3 municipalities in the Slovenian Littoral: Izola (Isola), Koper (Capodistria) and Piran (Pirano).
